Mr. Muriithi holds a Master of Science Degree in Agricultural Economics from Egerton University. He has strengths in agricultural development, policy advocacy, monitoring and evaluation, impact measurement, strategic planning, project design, development and management.

Mr. Muriithi has over 25 years of professional experience in both private and public sector, most of which have been spent in the Agricultural Sector. He joined the Ministry of Agriculture in 1989 as an Assistant Agricultural Officer and rose through the ranks to become a Principal Agricultural Officer.

Among his notable achievements in the Agricultural Sector are producing the best national small scale farmer while working as the District Extension Research and Liaison and Training Officer in 2006 in Butere – Mumias Districts. He has authored and co- authored several scientific papers on diverse socio - economic issues and sustainable resource use, some of which have been published in refereed journals and proceedings of international conferences.

Mr. Tito holds a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Production Chains Management from Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied sciences in the Netherlands and a Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. He is a technically skilled agricultural professional with 17 years working experience both in the private and public sectors of the horticulture industry backed by versatile administrative support skills. Mr. Tito has hands-on experience with keen attention to detail aimed at promoting 3R’s of sustainability and food safety standards. He is a dynamic leader instilling a shared sense of purpose in promoting vertical and horizontal chain linkages among value chain actors. Put simply, Mr. Tito is a facilitator of change focused on achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Mrs Isabella Nkonge is the Interim Director of Coffee Directorate, Agriculture and Food Authority from May, 2018. She holds a Master of Science Degree in Agronomy from University of Nairobi. She has strengths in strategic planning and management, crop science, Compliance enforcement and Technical and Advisory Services in Coffee matters.

Mrs Isabella has over 30 years of professional experience in public sector, most of which have been spent in the Agricultural Sector. She joined the Ministry of Agriculture in 1985 as an Assistant Agricultural Officer and rose through the ranks to become an Assistant Director of Agriculture. While at the Ministry of Agriculture she served at different capacities and key among them was the appointment as the District Agricultural Officer in charge of Kiambu from 2005 up to 2008. In 2009, she joined Coffee Board of Kenya as the Chief Technical and Regulatory Manager in charge of regulations enforcement and technical advisory in coffee. She acted as the Managing Director, Coffee Board of Kenya from October, 2013 until the merger of the Board to AFA in August, 2014.

Among her notable achievements in the Agricultural Sector was the appointment as a Secretary to a Task Force on Assessment of Possibilities of Sorghum Production on Commercial Scale in July 2004, Member of a technical team on assessment of the potential for sugarcane production and factory capacity in South Nyanza belt in June, 2005 and further was appointed as a member of Taskforce on the Development of the Miraa Industry by His Excellency the President Uhuru Kenyatta in June, 2016 up to December,2016.

Dr Kaibi currently serves as the Head of Nuts and Oil Crops at Agriculture and Food Authority (AFA). She holds a PhD in Nutritional Sciences from University of Stellenbosch South-Africa and is an Alumnus of Moi and Kenyatta Universities. She has studied other courses such as a Post-graduate diploma in Food and Nutrition Security (Wageningen University-Netherlands) and Water Saving Agricultural Technology Yangling-China).

Dr Kaibi has over 20 years of professional experience in the Ministries of Education and Agriculture. She has authored and co-authored several scientific papers on Food and Nutrition Security issues; some as refereed journals and proceedings of international conferences. Florence has strengths in Leadership, Capacity Building, Policy development and Strategic planning.

Leonard Kubok is a Kenyan who currently serves as Head of Food Crops Directorate of the Agriculture and Food Authority, AFA. He is an Alumnus of both the University of Nairobi and Egerton University. He has also studied several courses including those in Rural Development in Africa (JICA- Japan), Corporate Governance (CCG-Kenya) and Value Chain development (Cooperative University of Kenya) and Developing Gender Sensitive Value Chains (UNITAR, Geneva). He serves as member of the Board of Advisors at EMEDEN, a famers support organization where he is responsible for providing guidance and oversight in cresting rural development interventions and technology transfer.

Raymond Kahindi is a holder of a BSc. Agricultural Engineering from Egerton University. Raymond is the Interim Head, Miraa, Pyrethrum and Other Industrial Crops Directorate. Prior to this, he served as the Interim Head of Nuts and Oil Crops Directorate for over six years.

In 2009, he worked as the General Manager, Technical Services, Kenya Coconut Development Authority. He worked in various capacities at Tana & Athi Rivers Development Authority (TARDA): Agricultural Engineer (1996), Soil Conservation Specialist (2004), Principal Project Operations Coordinator (2005) and Team Leader in the rehabilitation of the Tana Delta Irrigation Project (2009).
